Ask the gorilla about our styling gels
This page answers the common questions about our gel formulas, hold ratings, and jar formats. We make the gel and list the catalogue here. We do not sell directly to the public from this site, take payments, or process parcels.
- What does the number on the bottle mean?
- Hold strength is measured on a ten point scale printed on the front label. Galan sits at 7 for a lighter grip. Gamer has an 8 rating. Rockero delivers a 9. Punk reaches 10 out of 10 for the stiffest finish. The number tells you how rigid the formula sets once it dries on the hair.
- How do you get the gel out of your hair?
- Water alone removes the gel completely. Stand under the shower or run your head under a tap to soften the product. It dissolves fast without extra scrubbing or special clarifying soaps. Once rinsed with plain water, your hair is clean and free of leftover residue.
- Does the gel flake after it dries down?
- Flaking happens only when dry hair is disturbed. Once the gel locks in place, touching, brushing, or scratching the set hair breaks the cast into white bits. Apply the formula to damp hair, place the strands where you want them, and leave the hair alone to dry cleanly.
- What is the difference between the bottle and the jar?
- Packaging format is the only real difference between the two presentations. Squeeze bottles let you dispense product onto your palm without dipping your fingers. Jars allow you to scoop larger portions in one go. Both containers hold the exact same formula for that line.
- Can the gel be reshaped later in the day?
- Wet your hands with tap water to reactivate the dry hold. Run wet palms over the set areas to loosen the grip, move the hair into a fresh position, and let it dry again. Adding more dry gel over a set style causes clumps, so stick to water for adjustments.
- How much gel should you use on your hair?
- Start with a portion the size of a coin. Rub the gel between your hands to spread it out, then work it through damp strands from root to tip. Thicker hair needs a second small portion. Using too much product at once simply takes longer to dry down hard.
- Where can you buy our styling products?
- Retail partner stores and independent sellers stock the four lines across the country. We do not run an online shop, a shopping cart, or a physical retail counter at our office address. Check the shelves of your local supermarket, pharmacy, or beauty supplier to buy a bottle.
- What should you do about an order that went wrong?
- Contact the retail merchant listed on your receipt. We do not hold inventory, ship parcels, collect card payments, or handle return packages on this site. The seller you purchased the item from handles all tracking updates, damaged deliveries, cancellations, and refunds directly.
You cannot place an order on this site. If you have questions about the gel formulas in our catalogue, reach us through the email link in the footer.
